A Taste of Trust

As we go about our lives in this chaotic and stressful world, it is easy to become anxious, nervous, and unsure of much of anything. While I don’t know the answers to all of the world’s problems, I know the one Who does. Often, the best thing we can do is to read and meditate on Scripture and just trust in God.

A TASTE OF TRUST

Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity… Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him…for evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth . . . Psalm 37

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You . . . Isaiah 26:3

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety . . . Psalm 4:8

The Lord is my strength and my shield: my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore, my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him . . . Psalm 28:7

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God . . . 2 Corinthians 3:5

Ah, Lord God! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm.  There is nothing too hard for You . . . Jeremiah 32:17
